This External Inline Fridge filter is the genuine original OEM filter.

This suits refrigerators that have a fridge filter on the outside, at the back of the fridge or in a nearby cabinet. It is the latest fridge filter from the USA & meets Australian plumbing and drinking water standards. This fridge filter is now preferred by most refrigerator manufacturers. It includes the latest John Guest fittings allowing it to adapt to plastic tubing while also dramatically reducing the risk of leaks. Currently used with Whirlpool, Westinghouse, Bosch, Maytag, Daewoo, Amana, Smeg, Jennair, Omega, LG, Samsung, GE, Kleenmaid, Miele & Gaggenau.

Also suitable replacement for AP717, and Haier brand fridge model HFD647WISS.  Also is compatible with the following: 01-0000-79, AC15, AC30, AC36, H-30S, H-5, H-53, H-8, H-83, H-83SR & K2533-JJ.

Manufacturers typically recommend that inline fridge filters be replaced every 6 months or when the “change filter” light comes on in order to maintain the best quality water.
