What is the range of pH in Healthy Water?

The pH range is measured from 0-14 with 7 being neutral. The lower the pH reading the higher the acidic content is. The higher the pH reading the more alkaline the content is.
(see graph)
Your body’s  pH level is extremely important for good health. Your blood has to remain between 7.35 and 7.45 with the ideal measure being 7.4pH for a healthy balance. If your blood pH moves to 6.8 or 7.8pH the cells in your body will cease to function and you will die. If your body’s pH is even slightly acidic the repercussions on your health are endless. Some health concerns are as follows:
• Hormone imbalance
• Cardiovascular weakness
• Weight gain
• Bladder and kidney problems
• Immune deficiency
• Acceleration of free radical damage
• Low bone density (brittle bones)
• Deficient liver function
• Low energy/chronic fatigue syndrome
• Sluggish digestion
• Yeast/fungal overgrowth
• Tumour growth

What is pH and how is it important to me?

The body’s pH is a critical component to good health and survival. PH is the abbreviation for ‘potential hydrogen’. A high pH reading means there is more alkaline and oxygen rich fluid. The lower the pH reading means there is more acidic and oxygen deprived fluid. This can be measured in our blood, urine and saliva.

How does pH affect our health?

The human body is an amazing instrument designed for preservation and when we provide an optimal environment for the human body to function it is surprising to see how efficiently it can set about healing itself. The downside is that in today’s modern world with our poor diets and exposure to an insurmountable amount of chemicals every single day, it is a real task for the human body to keep this balance. One of the main survival mechanisms our body undertakes to combat the high levels of acidic content that it has to deal with is to dilute the acid with fat and fluid or store it in fatty deposits around our organs and stripping our bones of calcium to dilute the blood. This works well for initial preservation but unfortunately this all catches up with us in the end with the above mentioned health ailments.

So what does water purification have to do with this?

Water purification is an imperative part to good health as our bodies are made up of approximately 70% water. So having clean water is fundamentally important to your journey for good health.

How can I get purified healthy water?

The most efficient way to remove all the impurities and contaminants from your water is with a Reverse Osmosis system. This process of purification removes 98% of everything from the water, including essential minerals leaving the water at a pH of 6.8 which is slightly acidic, like rain water. This is not ideal but is much better than consuming all the chemicals and heavy metals. If you would like to have alkaline water that has the good minerals like magnesium, calcium and potassium Crystal Water has alkaline cartridges to correct the pH to a healthy 7.2 thus ensuring that you are consuming healthy water.
